This course is designed to teach the Arabic language to those working in the field of diplomatic services by discussing topics ranging from economic, political, social, legal, cultural, and related topics.
This course is designed to improve your everyday spoken and written Arabic and especially to promote fluency in business communication. This course is ideal for students that want work in the Middle-East.
This Media Arabic course introduces the language of the newspapers, magazines, and internet news sites to intermediate and advanced level students of Modern Standard Arabic.
This reading course is for students who have completed intermediate or advanced level of Arabic. The course expands students’ knowledge of specific literary texts in Modern Standard Arabic.
Grammatical Analysis: Applying Irab to Classical Texts
The Grammar Analysis is an intermediate course in Classical Arabic. Students in this course will practice and develop their skills in reading and grammatical analysis (I’rab) by applying it to Qisas Al-Nabiyeen.
Grammar Intensive: A Reading of Matn al- Ajurrumiyya
This course is designed for students who have already studied classical grammar or have a high level of Modern Standard but are looking to get a refresher by going through it again by reading a classical text in Arabic.
Classical Arabic Literature: Selections from Various Genres
This reading course is for students who have completed intermediate level of Arabic. The course expands students’ knowledge of specific literary texts in Classical Texts such: short stories, sermons, biographies and prose.
These informal sessions allows you to connect with our expert faculty without worrying about doing homework or preparing for your lessons but at the same time to keep up or freshen up your Arabic from where you left off.
As a foundational course in the basics of correct Arabic pronunciation, this class helps students develop a more authentic Arabic accent, the ability to read Arabic texts with greater ease and, not to mention, increased confidence as an Arabic learner.
The course assists students currently focusing on translation from Arabic to English and vice versa with texts they are currently working on in academia, business or personal purposes.
